Hello, my name is Mohammed, and I am 24 years old. I once had a home and a small business in northern Gaza, but both were destroyed in the recent conflict. In the second month of the war, my family and I were forced to flee to the south. We lost our home, my livelihood, and everything we had saved—everything I had worked so hard to build.
Now, we are living in a tent under very harsh conditions. Food is scarce and expensive, and we rely on charity for meals, as supplies in the markets are running out. I have no remaining resources to support my family.
I am reaching out with the hope of finding help to move my family and me out of Gaza and start over. Your support would mean the world to us as we try to rebuild our lives. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Thank you for considering helping us in this time of great need.

I have been talking to Mohammed almost every day for the last 9 months. I met him through friends. Mohammed is one of the gentlest souls I know; he has stepped up and taking on a great responsibility to provide food for his younger siblings and parents. This is much too large of a responsibility for a 24 year old to carry.
Previously we had private donors that were able to support food and housing for Mohammed. However, the blockade has skyrocketted the price of food, and now the private donors are not even able to cover all food. We now are resorting to fundraising to try and combat the food insecurity Mohammed is facing. We really appreciate you partnering with us!
